Easy paper windmill template. If you cut the template out by hand be sure to poke holes using your thumbtack where indicated on the template. You will need a pdf reader to view the file. While the skewers are soaking cut out the pinwheel template from a piece of paper. Using washable markers or crayons on the printed pinwheel template could be an easy and mess free craft for any age. 2 print out the file on a4 or letter size cardstock. Short length of thin dowelling for stick step 1 cut two 20cm squares of paper one in each colour. Bend the next spoke over and push. If you re not upcycling artwork or special patterned scrapbook paper this is a super easy way to get your pinwheel started.
Once your shape is cut out take one spoke of the pinwheel and push the thumbtack through the hole from the back. 2 print out the file on white a4 or letter size paper. You will need a pdf reader to view these files. Then cut out the square shape and cut on diagonal lines from corners inward.
Fold diagonally again this time on the opposite diagonal and open out. Flat ended map pin or push pin. The free printable template gives you everything you need to make the craft. Matching edges all round fold the paper in half diagonally and open out.
